Personnel Profile
When Sean graduated from Starfleet academy, it was in the middle of the Dominion War, and before he knew it, he was in the midst of battle. By the time the war ended, he had seen more atrocities and carnage than any young man of his age should have been exposed to . Needless to say, it changed Sean from a happy-go-lucky cadet to a common-sense and precautionary security officer. His loyalty to captain and ship was strong, and the safety of the crew was of his utmost concern. On stardate 58084.7, Sean was assigned by Captain Roth and Commander Carter to assist the Chief Intelligence Officer of Republic, Lieutenant Commander Forrest, in a clandestine mission that eventually led him to being kidnapped by Romulans on Farius Prime. After learning of this, Commander Carter pulled several strings to rescue McTaggart, which included enlisting the help of a retired Romulan military officer for a snatch operation outside of Federation borders. Said operation succeeded, and Sean was delivered unharmed to Starbase 39-Sierra after his ordeal. Following this event, Sean McTaggart recovered and was reassigned to the USS Hornet.
