Personnel Profile

Ragnar originally joined Starfleet's enlisted infantry program back during the Dominion war. As a veteran of the Tarsian war back on his home planet of Angosia, he was genetically and behaviorally modified for warfare, and found reintegration into society after the war difficult. While the Angosian government first dealt with him by locking him away in a penal colony, they later found the insight and technology to neutralize the psychological conditioning. At first, he tried following his childhood aspirations to become an artistic painter, but found that his military training got in the way. Since he still had the warfare skills and genetic modifications such as strength and stamina, he took a job in planetary security, but found it bland and boring. Eventually, he was recruited once again into Starfleet, and attended the advanced placement academy alternative in order to serve as one of the most elite security officers in the Federation: A security officer at the notorious top-secret super-max prison, Ananke Alpha. Ragnar first met the crew of the Galaxy class Republic (NCC-76241) during it's final mission to the prison facility, serving as an escort for Lieutenant Nathan Hawk during the secretive Keevan Faro hearings that eventually led to the Remnant Attacks of stardate 58851. After the attacks Ragnar was assigned to the Luna class USS Republic (NCC-81371) as chief of security.
