Occasionally, the Republic plays host to visiting dignitaries, flag officers, and other important civilian personnel. Most are one-time guests associated with a specific mission. However, there are a few individuals that come aboard on a regular basis as their occupation is somehow coupled with Republic's operations, general mission orders, and/or recurring destinations. A majority of the regular crew are familiar with these people, and for better or for worse, have become common faces to the senior officers.

Personnel Summary
|
|
Admiral Kostya has become the proverbial thorn in the side of Republic and her crew. More than once he has come aboard unexpectedly with mission orders that have resulted in major problems for ship operations to include ethical and moral conflicts-of-interest. He constantly attempts to insert new crewmembers onboard that have loyalties to him rather than Republic's captain and senior officers. His disposition is that of a shadowy schemer, and is often condenscending and arrogant to those who do not commit to his view of the universe.

Personnel Summary

Leah Warner is as complicated as she is beautiful. Born into journalism, the daughter of famed FNS Anchor Jack Warner, Leah - sometimes called Jess, a pen name she began her career under - is a tough-as-nails reporter that users her minimal Betazoid empathic skills to guide her behavior and get information. Though some have called her 'eccentric' for the way she can flip from sweet to sarcastic to down-right blunt rude, it's served her well in her brief career. A graduate of the Pennington School in New Zealand, one of the premiere institutes for journalism and literary scholars, Leah has made an equally complicated reputation for herself. From post-war fluff pieces about the 'costs of war' she broke out into her own spot light by going under cover to do a self-appointed expose on the Orion Syndicate. Though she's been known to do anything for a story, she has a reputation for honesty that keeps her in the good graces of her colleagues.
